Disasi makes his mea culpa after his strong words on arbitration
Summoned at the last minute for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar to compensate for the package of Presnel Kimpembe, insufficiently recovered from his injury, Axel Disasi was present at a press conference this Saturday. The opportunity in particular for the central defender to return to the very strong remarks (“In the last 15 minutes, the referee was for Marseille”) that he had held about the refereeing in the fault of the Ligue 1 match between Monaco and OM (2-3) last Sunday.
“These are words that I should not have said”
“I would like to come back to the incidents that occurred against Marseille and say that the comments I made towards the body were refereeing, it was a totally hot reaction. Today, being a little more calm and composed, this are words that I shouldn’t have said, I shouldn’t have said such harsh words. I hope this episode will serve as a lesson for me in the future”, dropped the 24-year-old player, in full mea culpa.
“We got into a little room with Jordan”
Relaunched on a potential chambering on the part of OM players upon his arrival at the Château de Clairefontaine the next day, Axel Disasi replied: “No, no, no. As I said, the group is super cool. We got into a little room with Jordan (Veretout, editor’s note), but there is no controversy or anything. “Them like me, they quickly moved on. We are part of the France team and there is a World Cup to prepare. I think that was quickly swept away.”
