Rojhilat and Iran uprising continues – ANHA | HAWARNEWS
The uprising that broke out in Rojhilat (Eastern Kurdistan) and Iran continues without interruption. People continue to protest against the killing of a young Kurdish girl, Gina Amini, at the hands of the Iranian regime. Today is also the anniversary day of the 2019 demonstrations. Despite the cold and rain, people still took to the streets to continue their protests.
Protests swept the city of Khoy and the rest of the cities of Eastern Kurdistan, especially Urmia, Mahabad, Bukan, Sakkez, Devender, Sunnu, Garvanmian, Abadan and Ilam.
According to the Roj news agency, earnings reports that there are deaths and injuries as a result of the protests.
Today was also the funeral of Muhammad Hasan Zadeh, who became the owner of life in the city of Bukan. During his funeral, slogans against the Iranian regime were chanted. Also during the mourning opening ceremony that the revolution in Rojhilat and Iran is embracing women.
In addition, commemoration ceremonies were also held for four demonstrators who died during the protests 40 years ago. During the ceremony, the slogan “Woman, Life, Freedom” was chanted non-stop.
Today, the people of Iran took to the streets despite the cold and rain. Protests swept Tehran, Mashhad, Babol, Torez, Bandar Abbas, Masal, Shiraz, Isfahan and many other cities. Protests were also made in the city of Khomeini, where the Islamic Republic of Iran by Ruhollah Khomeini was founded.
It should be noted that the human rights organization based in Europe also published yesterday the results of the uprising of the peoples in Rojkhilat and Iran.
According to this result, 342 people have already died since the beginning of this uprising, including 42 children and 26 women. The report also said that some detainees could be sentenced to death.
