Program for day 8 of November 18 and 19, 2022:
Graffenstaden | INSEP |
Calais | Chartres |
Feytiat | Reims |
Montbrison | Monaco BA |
Charnay | Aulnoye-Aymeries |
Mondeville | La Tronche-Meylan |
From this evening given the proximity of the international window, Ligue 2 will continue with first Graffenstaden which will accept INSEP. The objective for the Alsatians will be to quickly forget and make people forget their bitter defeat suffered a week earlier on the floor of La Tronche-Meylan (92-72). For that, nothing better than to win at home against the young people of the Pole France of which they will have to be wary because the latter encountered many problems in Charnay (56-64) the previous week.
Tomorrow evening on the Côte d’Opale, Calais will be keen to show that their victory in Reims (47-71) was the start of a new era for the COB. For that, the Calaisiennes will this time have to get rid of a Chartres team which brought down Mondeville quite heavily (75-55) and which, too, will have to be confirmed with a second victory in a row in order to get even closer to the frontrunners.
The Rémoises are really struggling to start their season even if they still have 2 wins on their counter. To be balanced before a truce that will be welcome, the girls ofAurélie LOPEZ will have to bring out the big game on the floor of Feytiat, who suffered a first setback by losing in the Principality of Monaco (72-68 ap) and who will therefore be revengeful at home.
The Monegasques will have the opportunity to make an even bigger impression at the start of the Ligue 2 season. For this they will be in Forez to challenge a Montbrison team which suffered a setback in Aulnoye-Aymeries ( 64-56) but without too many consequences in accounting terms.
We are also expecting a high-intensity match in Saône-et-Loire with Charnay who therefore receives Aulnoye-Aymeries in the fight to retain his first place while keeping an eye on Feytiat’s result against Reims. The Northerners will however go to Burgundy with the fierce desire to bring down the CBBS from its dominant position and at the same time get closer to it.
Just like in Reims, Mondeville is in a delicate situation at this stage of the competition. Tomorrow evening, the Normans will host the BCTM in an attempt to recover their health before taking a break to continue working and finding solutions for the future. For their part, the Iséroises have reassured themselves by having the SIG with the way and would like to win a second victory in a row.
