Hannover 96: Too tired! Nicolo Tresoldi doesn’t play in the U19 Bundesliga after all | Sports
The little Reds have to do without him. Unlike planned, Nicolo Tresoldi (18) will not attack in the U19 Bundesliga for Hannover 96 in Dresden on Saturday morning.
Tresoldi backs down!
Because he feels tired, he decided with the coaching staff that he should recover at home. He was originally supposed to help the U19s in the relegation battle, just like against Cottbus (4-0) a week ago. Tresoldi had scored his first competitive goal of the season in the basement duel.
Now also sofa instead of Bundesliga! The storm jewel had signaled that he was not at full power. After the final training session on Friday, it was finally clear that coach Dirk Lottner (50) would do without Tresoldi.
The native Italian is missing in Dresden. Next week he has to go full throttle again. Tresoldi plays with the German U19s in a 4-nation tournament against Poland (23/11), hosts Malta (26/11) and Portugal (29/11).
Sports director Marcus Mann (38): “It’s something big for him. Nicolo is very excited.”
Maxi Beier (20) is also in action for Germany. He plays on Saturday (3 p.m.) in Zwickau with the U20s against Norway.
Antonio Foti (19) was injured in the Cyprus U21s’ 1-1 draw against North Macedonia. His action against Serbia on Sunday is in jeopardy.
