Górnik Łęczna – Polonia Warsaw 2:0. Won in Parczew
The miners’ league struggles in 2022 were effective last Sunday with a home match against Puszcza Niepołomice, which ended with a 2:2 result. The end of the fight for points does not mean, however, for the green and black holidays. Footballers from Łęczna will train until December, and until then they will play three control times and an internal sparring. On Friday, in Parczew, the first of them took place.
At the local stadium, the players of coach Marcin Prasoł faced the second-league Polonia Warszawa. The coach of Górnik gave a seat in the room to captain Maciej Gostomski. Without him, however, the green and black coped very well. In the 36th minute, there was a lot of turmoil in the “Black Shirts” penalty area. After a series of shots straight at the end line, the pitch was taken over by Hubert Sobol and he withdrew it to Karol Podliński, and ten additional shots of her feet in the rivals’ net. The second goal came just before the break. In the 43rd minute of the dynamic rally on the left wing of the mechanism, Sergei Krykun, after which he converged in the penalty area towards and fired a powerful shot. Polonia managed to hit the ball, but against Damian Gąski’s volley he was already weak.
In the second half of the coach, Prasoł made several changes, but the result did not change and the emergence of a two-goal win of the first league player. “I think the sparring was played at a good level. It was a bit harder because of the pitch on the pitch, but we played a good match – just a meeting in the club media Jakub Kwiatkowski. – This year we will play two more test games and I hope we will win them by playing well – added the green-and-black midfielder.
The players from Łęczna will play another sparring match on November 25 in Myślenice, and their rival will be another team from Fortuna I Liga – Wisła Kraków.
