Delano refocuses on the Luxembourg financial community
Under its new guideline “Luxembourg’s financial community”, Delano focuses primarily on Luxembourg’s financial center activity, but also covers hot news, offers insightful analysis and commentary on politics, technology , diplomacy, international relations and business, as well as cultural and practical information for the international community in Luxembourg.
Delano acknowledged serving readers who reside in Luxembourg, as well as an international audience that wants to know more about the Grand Duchy.

The magazine will become a quarter, structured around four main themes:
– Delano Alternative Investments, published March 24, 2023
– Delano Expat Guide, published July 14, 2023
– Delano Finance 100, published September 22, 2023
– Delano Tech 100, published November 17, 2023.
In addition, Delano will switch to a new, lighter type of paper, taking its weight – and its carbon footprint – by more than 30%.
Nathalie Gerhardstein, editor-in-chief of Delano magazine, explains: “2023 will be an exciting year for many reasons. We are celebrating our 12th anniversary as well as Delano’s 100th issue. And this announcement is an important step in the evolution of Delano, which is intended to be a reflection of the unique financial center that is Luxembourg.”

Delano will publish two newsletters: a daily edition, featuring Delano’s best online content, sent weekdays at 11:45 am; and a weekly financial newsletter, with the latest news and events from the Luxembourg financial sector, sent on Tuesdays at 2 p.m.
Aaron Grünwald has been appointed as the new editor-in-chief of Delano.lu. He has been a journalist in Luxembourg for 13 years and has held several positions within Delano, the most recent being senior financial journalist. “The financial center is an essential element of Luxembourg. We want to provide what members of the financial community are actually doing in the Grand Duchy, both in their professional and personal lives. I am delighted that Delano is the No. 1 local information source for the Luxembourg financial community,” he says.

Delano will host a number of live events in 2023. These include two calendar highlights: Delano’s 12th Anniversary Party, taking place Feb. 23 at Melusina; and the Guide de l’Expat release party, which will be held on July 13 at the same Mélusine.
Two flagship professional events are also scheduled, both in the form of sit-down dinners: the launch party for the Delano Tech 100, which will be held at the Cercle citél on November 16; and the 2023 Finance Awards, which will take place at Casino 2000 on November 28.

“After 14 years at Maison Moderne, including 12 as editor-in-chief of Delano, I decided to step away from journalism to pursue personal projects. My nearly 30 years of collaboration with Mike Koedinger – I won the very first Explorator guide in 1994 – will nevertheless continue to help on various projects as a freelancer”, would like to emphasize Duncan RobertDelano’s longest-serving editorial staff.
