Calais firefighters have launched the sale of their traditional calendars

Like every year at the same time, Calais firefighters meet the inhabitants of the agglomeration to sell their calendars.
The door-to-door campaign began on Monday November 7 and will continue until the end of December or even the very beginning of January.
The donations attributed to the Calais firefighters’ association to improve daily life and celebrate the highlights of the barracks.
Last year the thematic portrait on street-art, this year the emphasis is on the diversity of actions of firefighters. Willy Buttez, chief warrant officer at the Calais rescue center and president of the Firefighters’ Association.
The opportunity to remember that firefighters do not only intervene for fires.
This sale of calendars is a real highlight for all years, for firefighters and for residents.
There is no minimum amount for donating and purchasing a calendar.
Comments collected at the microphone RADIO 6 by Priscilla Vandeville. Around 70,000 euros were represented last year for 16,000 calendars, a figure which has remained stable in recent years.
Calais firefighters returned the municipalities of Calais (except the Beau Marais district covered by Marck firefighters), Sangatte Blériot-plage, Coulogne, Coquelles, Bonningues-lès-Calais, Hames Boucres, Peuplingues, Escalles, St-Tricat and Frethun.
