For a badly posed hamburger bun story, the tone would have risen between several McDonald’s employees despite the manager’s intervention. Théo allegedly insulted Imène and Alexandra before things got out of hand.
“Alexandra followed me into the room and approached me. I pushed her away but didn’t try to kick or tear her veil. Imene arrived in rescue mode, I called her a whore and put my hands up to defend myself, but I didn’t hit her. The next day, the management summoned us one by one to tell the facts. “A version supported by certain colleagues of Théo and denied by Alexandra and Imène as well as other employees.
However, the investigation carried out by the management led to his dismissal for serious misconduct. “As soon as we learned of the facts, we immediately launched an internal investigation involving the staff representatives (CSE) and took the necessary decision in compliance with the legal framework,” McDonald’s said on Thursday. Théo filed a complaint against his two colleagues for defamation and moral harassment.
