Manchester United secured three Europa League points at home after scoring three goals past FC Sheriff Tiraspol.

Marcus Rashford doubled their lead 20 minutes into the second half. With nine minutes left in the second half, Cristiano Ronaldo scored the third.
As a result of the win, United now ranks second in Group E and advances to the next round alongside Real Sociedad.
PSV Eindhoven best Arsenal
Joey Vermeen and Luuk De Jong scored as PSV Eindhoven handed Arsenal their first defeat of the season.
After a stalemate in the first half, PSV took the lead eight minutes into the second half with Vermeen’s goal. In the 2021-22 season, Dutch striker Luuk De Jong, who played on loan at Barcelona, scored a 2-0 victory.
After five games, Arsenal still leads Group A with 12 points. PSV’s win moves them into second place, just two points behind the leaders.
Roma flee from fear of Helsinki
Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma avoided defeat against Finnish club HJL Helsinki on matchday five of the Europa League with a 2-1 victory.

Tammy Abraham gave the visitors the lead just before half-time, while Helsinki equalized soon in the second half with a Përparim Hetemaj goal. Roma, who controlled the ball with a smaller share and only one more shot on goal than the hosts, would take the lead with an own goal by Central defender Arttu Hoskonen just eight minutes after the equalizer.
“I didn’t have a good time tonight, but I’m happy,” he shared Sky Sports after the final whistle.
“We had heard about Ludogorets defeat beforehand and knew that any result would leave everything open. However, everything continues until next week. At times we played a good game tonight.
