Integration week: successful meeting at the OFII in Toulouse
The territorial management of the OFII in Toulouse organized a meeting of its public with professional integration partners. The appointment set for October 19 was a real success.
The morning of October 19
This Wednesday morning, the territorial management welcomed more than 90 signatories of the reception and integration contract to its premises. They were able to meet and discuss with various partners in professional integration, also invited by the OFII in Toulouse.
10 stands were in place: employment centre, local missions, the National Agency for Adult Vocational Training (Afpa), the Action Against Exclusion Foundation (FACE), the device Accelerating the integration of refugees (Accelair), and several associations involved in integration through employment.
This event also allowed those involved in integration through employment not only to receive and listen to the public of the OFII but also to discuss among themselves.
The synergy for the integration of the public of the OFII of Toulouse was very present at the rendezvous.
The afternoon of October 19
The afternoon was devoted to the national system for the reception of asylum seekers and refugees with experts, partner associations, in the presence of State services and Mrs. Hélène LESTARQUIT, sub-prefect in charge of mission with the prefect of the Occitanie region, prefect of Haute-Garonne.
3 round tables were offered with professionals from each theme.
One on mental health, the second on housing for refugees, the third on employment.
Many questions were asked, demonstrating the interest in the topics discussed.
A day full of presence and exchanges
In the morning, more than 90 signatories of the reception and integration contract and multiple professional integration partners rubbed shoulders, in the afternoon around forty people who are experts in their field of activity in the national system linked to reception of asylum seekers and refugees, listened and discussed during the 3 round tables.
While the OFII is at the heart of the integration process for first-time foreigners, it also has the role of facilitator, observer, of the network of actors for better project synergy.
