Near Toulouse, a retiree paid €120 for 15 liters of fuel. According to the gas station, it was closed. The customer was therefore not supposed to help herself.
This happened this Sunday October 16 in Montrabé, a town near Toulouse. A 63-year-old woman went to a supermarket gas station to fill up.
When she gets there, she notices that the price of diesel is displayed at €7.77 per liter. She also notices that the other customers before her do not help themselves at the pump and divide up when they arrive.
Believing in a computer problem, the retreat still continues to advance towards the pumps and fills up with diesel. But as she reaches the 15.43 liters of fuel she needed, the retiree is amazed when she sees the final price of her fill-up: 120 € for 15 liters.
Dissatisfied, the motorist contacts the service station, which answers him “that should not be used”.
In his defence, the person in charge of the service station made it clear that the establishment was not supposed to be open. Signs and barriers indicated its closure, but displaced motorists to go get help.
