Princess Caroline of Hanover, a floral Saturday under the sign of fashion in Monaco
Princess Caroline of Hanover discovered and judged, on Saturday, the creations of the participants of the 53rd Monaco International Bouquet Competition, and congratulated some of the winners.
“Color in fashion”. This was the theme of the Monaco International Bouquet Competition this year. This is organized by the Garden Club of Monaco, which Princess Caroline has chaired since 1982, the year of the death of her mother, Princess Grace, who had created this association in 1968.
Princess Caroline congratulated some of the winners
This theme could only delight the older sister of Prince Albert II and Princess Stephanie of Monaco, who wore a cream Chanel dress with a Lavallière collar for the occasion. Also a member of the “special” jury – made up of personalities from the literary and artistic world, which awards the “special prizes” -, she went around the various creations this Saturday, October 15, 2022 in order to be able to make her choice. Then after the deliberation, the mother of Andrea, Charlotte and Pierre Casiraghi and Princess Alexandra of Hanover presented some of the prizes. “Princess Caroline congratulated the competitors crowned with a badge or a special prize. A word for each, undoubtedly the most beautiful reward for these creative souls”, commented “Monaco-Morning“.
For this 53rd edition, six categories were offered to competitors, amateurs and professionals from all over Europe who had 4h30 to complete their floral work. Either: A Chanel bag, Saint-Laurent blue and Morocco (large size), Jean-Paul Gaultier’s haute couture, Christian Louboutin’s shoes, Wedding hats (for young participants) and A dinner at Christian Lacroix – Les Arlésiennes (table decoration).
