Tommy’s Diner launches its event caravan
the Tommy’s group adds a string to his bow. The company deployed in Toulouse continues to develop its events sector founded in 2019, Tommy’s events, with the launch of a caravan called the Airstream Diner. A vehicle intended for “companies wishing to take their employees on a journey to the 1950s”.
With this B2B offer available from mid-October, Tommy’s is extending its existing event services. This XXL caravan more than eight meters long can be privatized during the day or in the evening, modulated according to your desires to find the atmosphere of the Tommy’s dinner in company.
A caravan used by NASA
A way for the group to position itself on the B2B events market while retaining the characteristic US spirit of the firm. The chosen caravan model, the Air flowwas created in 1934 by Wally Byam in Los Angeles on the plans of an aeronautical engineer.
It is used in particular by NASA to transport astronauts at the foot of space shuttles. In nearly 90 years, the vehicle has become symbolic of the American way of life and is in line with the values of Tommy’s Diner. A concept created by a former Stade Toulousain player
As a reminder, the the concept of Tommy’s was created in the 1990s by Patrick Soula, former Stade Toulousain player, whose son is named Tommy. First established in Toulouse in 1993, the restaurant moved to Labège in 2002. The American diner concept finally returned to the city center in May 2021.
In the meantime, Tommy’s Diner has been deployed in several cities in mainland France and even in Réunion, with around ten establishments in total.
