San Marino. USL at the XVIII UIL Congress: “Keeping attention on workers’ rights”
A trade union has a duty to provide answers and solutions that require broadening the gaze and networking.
So writes theSan Marino Union of Workerswho adds: “For this reason, the Secretary General of USL is in Bologna from Thursday to Saturday and takes part in the work of the XVIII National Congress of UIL.
Given the excellent relationship between the USL Secretary Francesca Busignani and the UIL Secretary, Pierpaolo Bombardieri, a meeting has already been held between the two during the first part of the congress. This gives the measure of the fruitful collaboration that we intend to pursue with a view to being able to guarantee ever-increasing protections for People and Workers.
An event full of specific weight, therefore, which offers the opportunity to see first-hand where the eye of the Italian colleagues called to protect workers is pointed at a time that is certainly not easy while the scenario becomes wider and more complex. In fact, the poor health of the international economy, the uncertainty of global scenarios due to the war, the boulder weigh on workers and families.
All the crucial problems to which unfortunately the silent tragedy of deaths at work must be added. Theme on which Uil’s headlights are constantly on.
On a global level, we are in a historical moment of profound transition for the world economy and with a new cycle that is putting a strain on the financial system, grappling with the effects of the release and energy crisis. A context that is certainly difficult to manage but where with greater force than ever it is necessary to act so that fundamental rights such as that of safety in the workplace are not lost “.
