Thomas Hardy is one of the protagonists of English modernist poetry. This anthology offers the only wide and representative choice available on the Italian book market.
Edoardo Zuccato has published the collections of poetry in Altomilanese dialect Tropicu da Vissévar (1996), La vita in tram (2001), I bosch di Celti (2008), Ulona (2010), Tèrman and remember (2021), and in Italian Gli nightmares of Menippo (2016). He has translated several English-language poets, both romantic and contemporary, into Italian, on which he has written two monographs and many articles. The most recent essays are Vite in the shop window. The image of writers from 1800 to today (2021) and Transfers in loco. Essays on translation, dialect and poetry (2022). In dialect he translated Virgil’s Bucolics and, with Claudio Recalcati, the ballads of François Villon. From 2012 is the notebook of translations Il dragomanno errante.

The SP / Read project, acronym for Sound Poetry Reading, which comes from the voice verb to spread, spread / expand, gesture propagate, transmit, is a literary and performative project that concerns translating as written and vocal as a passage from one language to another. other and from the written page to reading aloud, the voice of the text, in the presence of the public. Poetry requires the presence of the poet (author, vocal interpreter, translator, these are the declinations of the subject that is generically defined as a poet).
