Prague – A Lamborghini car worth 11 million crowns was set alight by an arsonist in Prague at the end of September. This is evidenced by the footage from the cameras, which the police published today on website. Apparently, the perpetrator also burned himself in the process, which, according to the police, could be a clue to finding the arsonist. Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect.
A fire destroyed a luxury Lamborghini Huracán car parked in Freyova Street in Prague’s Vysočany on the night of September 28 to 29. From the photos released earlier by the fire department, it appears that the car was at the location of the car dealer Advantage Cars. A security camera footage shows a man in a hooded sweatshirt approaching the Lamborghini with a canister, dousing the car with flammable liquid and then setting it on fire. When ignited, the combustibles ignited violently even outside the car, and the flames reached the arsonist himself.
“We welcome information about who is on your computer who has fresh burns on his face and hands,” police officers asked the public. The arsonist is probably a man of medium build. At the time of the crime, he was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, apparently Adidas, and was also wearing light-colored pants and white Nike sneakers. “In this series, we are also appealing to the suspect himself to explain his incomprehensible behavior to which police station, or to contact line 158,” said Prague police spokesman Jan Rybanský.
