Five men celebrated wild drug party in apartment – Salzburg
Police blew up a drug party in Salzburg on Saturday after a witness dialed 911. The man himself was under the influence of drugs.
A witness called the police on Saturday evening and reported that he had observed several suspicious people in front of a residential building in Salzburg Schallmoos. When the patrol actions arrived, the officials found a man who matched the description of the caller.
When questioning the 21-year-old Austrian, the police noticed a strong smell of cannabis on him. The 21-year-old said he bought five grams of cannabis from an apartment in the apartment building. Police entered the building and could smell a strong smell of cannabis there as well.
Officials followed cannabis smell
The officers followed the smell until it could be assigned to a specific apartment. After confronting the apartment owner, a 28-year-old Austrian, with the facts, he allowed access to the apartment, the police report.
There were four other people in the apartment (a 21-year-old Italian, a 19-year-old from the city of Salzburg, a 21-year-old and a 36-year-old Serb) who were apparently holding a “drug party” with associated sales.
Drugs and secured cash
After the apartment was searched by the police and a drug detection dog, 188 grams of herbal cannabis, 15 grams of hashish, around 10 grams of unidentified narcotics in powder form, narcotics paraphernalia and cash holdings of more than 1,500 euros were seized.
The 21-year-old Serbian owned possession of the drug and cash. All carried out were displayed at large.
