Councilors of Prague 4 submitted an application for a financial subsidy from the capital city for the low-threshold club Uličník. He has been roaming the streets of Prague 4 since 2019 and offers a safe space where children and young people can anonymously ask for help in solving problems at school or in the family. The alley also functions as a place for meeting peers, doing homework and spending free time.
“The club is a youth club in the area of crime prevention of the Prague 4 municipal council. Uličník provides services to the most vulnerable groups, they are children and they are,” explained Lucie Michková (ODS), who discovered Uličník for Praha 4.
The Uličník project is in accordance with the Strategy for the prevention of crime and the prevention of addictive behavior and anti-drug policy in the territory of Prague 4.
The bus club operates every Monday and Wednesday in proven locations in front of Ohradní, Jílovská and Poláčkova elementary schools. The bus operator is the organization R-mosty. The project was supported by a grant from the capital in the area of crime prevention in 2022 as well.
