The Sophia Antipolis Foundation and the Monaco Economic Board partners
On the occasion of the Monaco Business fair which was held on Tuesday at the Méridien in the Principality, the Sophia Antipolis Foundation represented by its president Jean-Pierre Mascarelli and the Monaco Economic Board of Michel Dotta signed a partnership agreement for joint presences at fairs and actions in favor of the development of start-ups.
A Sophia-Monaco partnership! This is between was signed between the Sophia Antipolis Foundation and the Monaco Economic Board Tuesday 4 October at the Méridien Hotel on the occasion of the Monaco Business fair, the 10th edition brought together entrepreneurs from Monaco and the region. For this rapprochement between the two bastions of the economy of the Côte d’Azur, Sophia Antipolis and its Foundation had come into force in the Principality. Jean-Pierre MascarelliPresident of the Foundation and Philippe Marianithe director, had come accompanied by part of the CASA planning & development team with Alexandre FolotDirector General of SYMISA (Syndicat Mixte de Sophia Antipolis), representatives of Team Côte d’Azur and companies from Sophia Antipolis (Alain Grandjean of L2 Concept and Alain Ferbach from Videtics). The memorandum of understanding between the Côte d’Azur technology park and Monaco was thus signed by Jean-Pierre Mascarelli and Michel Dotta, Chairman of the Monaco Economic Board. This agreement is in line with those signed during the two previous editions of the show with the Nice Côte d’Azur CCI and the Nice Sophia Antipolis Côte d’Azur Italian Chamber of Commerce, as part of a development of trade at the regional level.
What is withheld? “The roadmap will be invented. It will follow two axes”Explain Philippe Mariani. “Joint participation, Sophia and Monaco, in major regional events such as MIPIM, MAPIC with a first example which should be given at the next SophIA Summit in November, as well as in national and international fairs. The second axis is in a collaboration for the development of start-ups from the Côte d’Azur and Monaco in the sectors of health, sport, banking services, collaboration which would concern in particular the search for financing or fundraising.
