Russia will study the possibility of conducting its own investigation of the emergency at Nord Stream
The Russian side is studying the possibility of conducting its own investigation at the site of the emergency on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, this was stated at the Russian Embassy in Denmark due to the unwillingness of the authorities of this country to involve Russian specialists.
The position of the Danish authorities calls for an investigation, which undermines its expectation of results, given in the diplomatic mission:
– Limiting the circle of its participants who are already in the alliance, or on the way to this alliance, turns into a politically biased one. Under these conditions, the Russian side will explore the possibility of conducting an independent comprehensive investigation at the crime scene, — show RT embassy message.
On September 30, the authorities of Denmark and Sweden report that emissions at Nord Stream were due to two explosions with a capacity of several hundred kilograms of TNT. The Nord Stream operator assumes that gas emissions will continue until October 2. However, on October 3, the service of the head of security in Sweden announced another accident at the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
Nord Stream AG stated that it was unable to survey sections of the pipeline due to the requested permits. Nord Stream AG’s request processing time may exceed 20 business days.
The day before, the Swedish security service discovered Nord Stream leaks at the site. The results of the inspection confirmed the version that sabotage was the cause of the leak in the gas pipelines.
