Apprenticeship Fair 22: Olympiaworld becomes the home of apprenticeship training
The first hybrid apprenticeship fair in Tyrol in the Olympiaworld in Innsbruck from 17th to 19th October 2022 offers numerous presentations of apprenticeships and stations to try out.
INNSBRUCK. The “Long Night of Apprenticeships” will start on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 2 p.m. The state of Tyrol will also be represented with a stand at the apprenticeship fair as a versatile apprenticeship trainer – currently 46 different apprenticeships are being trained. The entire program can be viewed online at www.lehre4you.at/tirol to be followed.
“Our apprentices are the specialists of tomorrow. We inspire young people to do an apprenticeship in order to cope with the demand on the labor market and to be able to continue to secure Tyrol as an attractive business location”.stresses the State Councilor for Economic Affairs Anton Mattel. “In addition to various supports for apprentices, such as training grants or funding for further training measures, the state of Tyrol is also increasing advice for schoolchildren to show them the opportunities of the teaching profession.”
For the Economic Provincial Council, the first hybrid apprenticeship fair represents a piece of the jigsaw for increased advertising of apprenticeships in the public: “With this modern format, the state of Tyrol, together with its partner, is bringing apprenticeships to young people and adults – with even more information, personal and digital exchange as well as a permanent presence on the internet. Hence my appeal to seize the opportunity and visit the “Long Night of Teaching.”

Stage for presentation and orientation
Tyrol’s Chamber of Labor President Erwin Zangerl explains: “Apprenticeship training in Tyrol is very important and anyone who completes an apprenticeship in Tyrol can be sure that they will receive sound training. The apprenticeship fair is like the stage for this: Firstly, young people can find their way around and decide on future-proof training, and secondly, it shows the quality of the training and the commitment of the trainers.”
Apprentice fair as mouthpiece for the companies
Chamber of Commerce President Christopher Walser points out: “The apprenticeship fair ‘Lehre4You’ serves as a mouthpiece for our companies and gives young people an insight into their company and the world of apprenticeships. In this way, the Tyrolean companies themselves can influence the fact that dual training is put in a better light in the public eye and that the resulting opportunities are properly taken advantage of.”
