Russia and Post-Russia: Is Disintegration Real?
With the start of Putin’s military invasion of Ukraine, votes for secession are growing in Russia and their opportunities are being created. Three forums of the peoples of post-Russia have already been held. The first one was held in May in Warsaw. The second one is at the end of July in Prague. The third is in the Polish city of Gdansk at the end of September. These events have brought together a large number of politicians and activists who are in favor of secession. The forums provoked reactions in the Russian state media, as well as among politicians in this country. In mid-September, two revisions entered the Russian State Duma, which led to the establishment and comparison of extremism with the distribution and demonstration of maps and images “challenging the territorial territory of Russia.”
