Bulgaria and Turkey will increase information exchange
A first but fruitful meeting between our MP Angel Cholakov in Ankara and the general director of the Anatolian Agency, Mr. Serdar Karagöz, took place yesterday, the Bulgarian embassy announced.
Ambassador Cholakov and Mr. Karagyoz united around the view that sharing more positive and useful information about Bulgaria and Turkey would contribute to promoting their amenities as profitable and nearby tourist destinations, especially for bilateral trade and investment, for cultural exchange and for better mutual presentation of achievements, innovations and in various spheres of mutual interest.
During the conversation, Deputy Cholakov and Mr. Karagyoz stated the readiness of the Bulgarian Embassy in Ankara and the Anatolian Agency to cooperate to the maximum extent for the upcoming opening in Ankara of an information office of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency.
The importance of the cooperation between the two agencies, which this month will be formalized by signing an agreement, will gain an additional dimension in the context of the choice of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency as the headquarters of the Association of Balkan News Agencies – South-Eastern Europe.
Ambassador Cholakov and Mr. Karagyoz discussed specific initiatives and ideas for the coming year and the possibilities for their realization with joint efforts.
