Good news for Airbus ! Tuesday, October 4, 2022, the airline Airlines Croatia announced that it will replace its aircraft with a new unified fleet ofA220.
Until now, Croatia Airlines operated with A320-200s, A319-100s and Dash 8-Q400s.
According to the company based in Zagreb (Croatia), “the new generation A220 aircraft would allow us to better meet the specific needs of our passengers”.
The replacement of the existing fleet will be done by 2026.
The order book is filling up
In recent weeks, Airbus continues to garner new orders. Prior to this announcement from Croatia Airlines, the aircraft manufacturer reached an agreement XiamenAir.
On Thursday 22 September, this Chinese company spent an order for 40 A320neo family aircraftfor an amount of almost five billion dollars.
