There is hardly a superlative left in the dictionary that has not been used about Erling Braut Haaland after the start of the adventure in the Premier League.
14 goals and three assists is the result after eight games, after taking part in lowering Manchester United with a hat-trick on Sunday.
Jærbuen has since been on the front page of almost all European sports newspapers, while Pep Guardiola mostly has to answer about the 22-year-old at almost every press conference he attends.

Haaland’s teammates in Manchester City are also starting to run out of words, if we are to believe Manchester Evening News journalist Simon Bajkowski.
He covers the blue ones closely as chief writer in the Manchester-based local newspaper, and says that centre-back Manuel Akanji, who also played with Haaland in Borussia Dortmund, almost just threw his arms out when he faced the pressure in the mixed zone after the Manchester derby.
– Akanji summed up the atmosphere around him when he started an answer by saying “what is there to say about him?!”, Bajkowski tells Nettavisen.

City expert with «scary» prediction
The Manchester Evening News reporter chose to give Haaland 10s on the stock market – a top grade that sits deep and is not everyday.
– I don’t like to give 10 unless it is a performance you will rarely see during a career – such as Foden also scoring a hat trick. I have given Haaland nine the other two times he has scored a hat-trick this season. However, scoring three goals and having assists in your first Manchester derby makes it impossible to avoid (10 on the stock exchange, editor’s note).
Haaland’s pursuit of his 18th goal in all competitions for Manchester City this season continues when the light blues take on Denmark’s FC Copenhagen in the Champions League on Wednesday.
After struggling with injuries for Borussia Dortmund last season, the winger has remained injury-free so far this season.
Haaland himself has given Nettavisen a lot of credit to City physio Mario Pafundi for the fact that the body has really played in teams this season, and the 22-year-old got to play a full 90 minutes against Manchester United despite the fact that the match was decided long before the end.

Bajkowski also noticed that Guardiola chose to stand with the Norwegian until the end of the game, and also does not believe that they have put the best out of Norway’s biggest football star yet.
Because while it has previously been pointed out how few touches Haaland has during a match, he was also involved in the built-up game against Manchester United.
Haaland ended up with a total of 35 touches at the Etihad on Sunday, and despite 14 goals in eight games in the Premier League, Bajkowski comes up with a prediction that must be frightening for everyone other than those who have the blues from Manchester closest to their hearts.
– The more he acclimatises to City’s style, the better he will be, he says.

– He does spectacular things
Both Pep Guardiola and Sergio Gómez naturally received more questions about Haaland when they appeared at a press conference on Tuesday before the match against FC Copenhagen.
Gómez, who also joined the club this summer, said that he was impressed by Haaland on a daily basis.
– He does very spectacularly as sometimes. We know what he is capable of, said the defender.
The match against FC Copenhagen kicks off at 21:00, and you can follow it in our live centre.
