Sacheva: We have focused on the broad government – Elections 2022 – Bulgaria – Hello, Bulgaria
GERB leader Boyko Borisov said on Tuesday that the party is ready for compromises and concessions in order to form a regular cabinet. In the “Hello, Bulgaria” studio, former social minister Denitsa Sacheva commented on the topic.
Borisov: I am ready for any compromises in the name of the people
“We’re focused on broad government,” she announced. According to her, recent voters have given a sign in several votes that they want a coalition government. According to GERB, it makes no sense to give money again for a new vote, given that the result would be the same.
Plevneliev responded to GERB’s invitation to participate in a group for negotiations between the parties
“At this stage, there is still no official reaction from the political parties. We have no indication of what the opinions and views of the latter parties are regarding our proposal, but we also do not see what arguments could be made against it, especially when each party is proposed to be able to broadcast and present its people in possible contact groups”, said Sacheva.
Will the “contact group” format succeed in mediating between the parties?
She emphasizes that the goal should be negotiated for clear common points of agreement and on these to make a program to govern in the next mandate. According to the former social minister, the minister in the country wants an agreement to be reached between the political forces in order to deal with the crisis in our country.
Dobrev: We cannot see eye to eye with some parties, but we are ready to compromise
Denitsa Sacheva also commented on the judicial reform in Bulgaria. In her words, the other parties should propose their projects for reforms, and not just demand the removal of the chief prosecutor. “Ivan Geshev has been washed by the judicial system. He was not elected by the GERB political party. The chief prosecutor cannot be replaced for political reasons”, she is categorical.
Solomon Passy accepts to assist in forming the government
“Bulgarian voters in these elections very clearly determined what the geopolitical choice of Bulgaria should be. 67% of them voted for Euro-Atlantic parties. We follow what the voters said and we want to have such a consensus around this geopolitical orientation of Bulgaria”, said the former Minister of Labor and Social Policy.
