In eastern Rome, 52 new social housing units
Fifty-two new public housing units will be built in Vecchia Ponte di Nona / Villaggio Falcone, in the VI town hall. The construction site for their construction was inaugurated on 5 October by the councilor for urban planning and housing policies Massimiliano Valeriani and by the vice president of the Lazio region Daniele Leodori.
The Lazio region will build two buildings with 26 apartments each
With a loan of 9 million euros (which altogether reach a total of 15), as part of the subsidized construction program envisaged in sector 9 of the area plan 20 Ponte di Nona, the region will build two three-storey buildings, each with 26 accommodations with an average of 54 square meters each. The affected area is between via Padre Ezechiele Ramin and via Padre Damiano de Veuster. All the apartments on the ground floor will have their own gardens and will be free of architectural barriers. Both buildings will be built in energy class A.
Buildings ready in foreseen years
The new buildings, among which the company will also create a green area with an equipped space and new trees, will hopefully be completed in 2 years. “We are inaugurating an intervention that has been expected for decades – comments Valeriani – these are two green buildings with low energy consumption and large green spaces, with which we demonstrate that even the building can be public and must be of quality and efficiency”. “Combining needs with environmental ones – adds Leodori – is the line we followed during our government and of which we can still touch the results today. Over 50 apartments that will be made available to citizens of an area with a high population density in one of the peripheral areas of the capital “.
