AS Saint-Etienne completes a signing with AC Milan!
While the hierarchy of goalkeepers is in full swing at ASSE, a goalkeeper should leave AS Saint-Etienne to joinAC Milan.
ASSE: Noah Raveyre will freely engage with AC Milan
This is very bad news for ASSE. The young 17-year-old goalkeeper, who arrived at AS Saint-Etienne in 2018, failed to reach an agreement with the Saint-Etienne leaders regarding his professional contract. As a result, he will engage freely with theAC Milan during the next summer transfer window. Considered a future great goalkeeper by the Greens, he had his first professional appearance on August 20 during the humiliation suffered at home against Le Havre 0-6, overcoming the expulsion of Étienne Green. As for the France team, he was called up for the first time with the U17s in February 2022 and took part in Euro 2022 with the same team two months later where he was established in the last group match of his team against the Netherlands on May 22.
This formalization comes in a delicate context concerning goalkeepers at ASSE. If Laurent Batlles has decided to reiterate his confidence in the young Étienne Green, the latter is making a more than average start to the season with no less than two red cards received since the start of the championship obtained by failed outings. His replacement, the experienced Matthew Dreyercould quickly take place in the Saint-Etienne cage in the event of new cagades from the young Englishman.
ASSE: The bad news is piling up in Saint-Etienne
In great difficulty in the league, ASSE has been going through complicated days lately. Tensions with some supporters could be observed on Saturday during the reception of Grenoble. This morning, it was the Saint-Etienne infirmary that came to weigh down the morale of the Greens with Léo Pétrot’s package for the trip to Bonal to face FC Sochaux next Monday.
After a catastrophic last season sold by a descent into Ligue 2, ASSE does not yet seem to have seen the end of the tunnel. A victory at Sochaux could give some hope to supporters who are beginning to think that the rise in Ligue 1 will probably not happen this season, and that the worst may be yet to come.
