What to do in October in Lyon?
October is here and brings with it its pretty fall colors and cool temperatures. To occupy your next rainy days, we have selected some appointments (indoors) not to be missed.
A long-awaited reunion
The concert hall The Station Market has finally reopened its doors to the public. The famous room and visitors have a lot to catch up on. For this first month of opening, many artists, including Mush, Terrenoire or Timber Timbre will perform on the main stage. Exhibitions and fairs are also planned.

Rather waffles or pancakes
It’s in Old Lyon that Tony Jocqs decided to fulfill his childhood dream by opening Milk and Pug, a super warm cafe. On the menu : comforting pancakes, delicious pancakes and gourmet waffles. On the drink side: Latte Macchiato and Milkshake will delight gourmets. This coffee is also a little nod to Tony’s pug, Myrtillo.

A dive into Ancient Egypt
Put on your adventurer outfit and enter the tomb of the famous pharaoh, with Egyptologist and archaeologist, Howard Carter. The exhibition also covers the historical and geographical context in which the young prince applies as well as the characteristics of the life of a pharaoh, from hygiene to diplomatic relations, including food and music. The small activity book, provided at the entrance, will delight the children who, at the end of the visit, will be able to receive their diploma as an apprentice archaeologist.

contemporary art
From the Guimet Museum to the Lyon History Museum via the Fagor Factory and the MacLyonthe 16th biennial of contemporary art is in full swing. Sound and plastic works invested the capital of Gaul. Take advantage of different routes in the city to discover them.
