The Minister of Oil and Energy for the Czech Republic and Denmark
Oil and Energy Minister Terje Aasland visits the Czech Republic and Denmark 11–14 October. In the Czech Republic, he will participate in the EU’s informal meeting of energy ministers in Prague. In Denmark, visit Copenhagen and Esbjerg, with a focus on carbon capture and storage and offshore wind.

Oil and Energy Minister Terje Aasland participated in the EU’s informal meeting of energy ministers in Prague. The Minister of State must participate in discussions about hydrogen, the electricity market and winter preparedness in Europe.

Thursday the 13th and Friday the 14th October
Oil and Energy Minister Terje Aasland is visiting Denmark together with a Norwegian business delegation. The theme of the visit is carbon capture and storage and offshore wind. The visit takes place in Copenhagen and Esbjerg.
In Copenhagen, Aasland will meet his Danish colleague, and they will sign a memorandum of understanding on carbon capture and storage. He will also participate in the launch of the Energy Transition Outlook 2022 report and take part in a conversation about how to ensure rapid development of offshore wind farms. In Esbjerg, Aasland gets a tour of the offshore wind ports and he visits the control center where Vattenfall controls all of its wind turbines in Europe.
