Paris Motor Show 2022 – The new Renault 4 is a crossover!
For Renault, it’s time for the return of popular icons. Next year, the diamond brand will launch the production version of its new electric R5, which is to replace the current Zoé and bring the brand to the city car segment. But the manufacturer is also preparing the return of the 4L, also in an electric version. On the occasion of the Paris Motor Show, Renault shows us a first glimpse of this future electric 4L in the form of a concept car.
And it will be a crossover as illustrated by these two official images showing the beast lurking in the shadows. The concept car even looks quite whimsical with raised ground clearance and bodywork equipped for travel and adventure, with a preparation worthy of real off-roaders. There is also a roof railing and what looks like a small gallery. The photo below, showing it in profile, is more reminiscent of a Dacia Duster than a Renault 4.
Remember that the production model of this future electric Renault 4 should arrive by the year 2025. See you at the Paris Motor Show on October 17 to find out more about its positioning. It must be a model that is both affordable and very practical.
Caradisiac, partner of the Paris Motor Show
As in 2018, Caradisiac is once again a partner in 2022 of the Mondial de l’Auto which will take place in Paris from October 17 to 23. The Caradisiac editorial team will thus be relocated to its own stand for the duration of the show to analyze, dissect, photograph and film all the new models. And this will of course also be an opportunity for you to come, as you are used to, to meet our journalists. Which new or used car to buy? They will answer all your questions. Until then, we will give you on Caradisiac all the information that we could have obtained from the manufacturers on their new models.
