Maarten Spijkers becomes Managing Director HPE Netherlands
Maarten Spijkers started work as the new Managing Director (MD) for Hewl Packard Enterprise (HPE) Netherlands, effective September 16. Spijkers is not a new face within HPE, as he brings with him more than 17 years of experience within the company. He worked there as Top Account Executive, Pointnext Leader Netherlands and Sales Director Enterprise & SMB.
Maarten Spijkers will be responsible for the end-to-end management of HPE’s activities in the Netherlands. Spijkers: “I have now happily taken charge of the company that I have actually called home for 17 years. HPE is an invisible force behind many businesses, and it has never been more relevant to support organizations across all industries with solutions that move forward. HPE’s edge-to-cloud portfolio is better positioned than ever and resonating in the market. Together with our employees and business partners, I will do my best to advance HPE’s core purpose of improving the way people live and work.”
Gilles Thiebaut, senior vice president, HPE, said: “Maarten is a great leader and who really understands HPE. He is highly regarded by our people, our customers and our partners. I am documents that we have been able to list him as our new general manager for the Netherlands.”
Spijkers has taken over the role of Jan Willem Dees. Dees joined HPE in 2020 as General Manager for HPE Netherlands and definitively the Dutch organization through the challenging period of the COVID-19.
