Hörbi is out of danger, the killer of his parents has not yet been found
Debrecen – The condition of the puppy Staffordshire terrier, who was found next to his parents beaten to death in the middle of September in the border of Mikepércs, is out of danger and is constantly improving.
The puppy that survived the cruelty was named Hörbi, he is about three months old. Alexandra Csige, chairman of the board of trustees of the Mancsod Foundation Ferenc Add Bodolai, who takes care of the dog, believes that he may have fainted from the blow to the head, so the perpetrator or perpetrators may have thought that he had died, and thus escaped. The puppy was in critical condition for a long time, there was a medical treatment when half a liter of pus was discharged from its injury.
He has already received his vaccinations for care, which has gotten better day by day, and as Dehir experienced on the spot, he has more and more trust in people. He walks and plays, as a dog should. According to Alexandra Csige, she is now out of danger and can live a full life.
As is well known, the bodies of two beaten Staffordshire terriers and Hörbi were found in the area of Mikepércs – in a place used as an animal cemetery.
The press service of the Hajdú-Bihar County Police Headquarters, in response to Dehir.hu’s inquiry, previously stated that in connection with the incident, the Berettyóújfalu Police Department initiated criminal proceedings against an unknown perpetrator on suspicion of animal cruelty.
Now we inquired again and found out
no questioning of the suspect took place in the case, the investigation is still ongoing against an unknown culprit.
Alexandra Csige says that the police take the case very seriously and will do everything possible to find the perpetrator. He believes that many civilians also help. The animal rights activists hope that they will find the culprit, that the accusation of animal cruelty will stop, and that the judge will impose a deterrent sentence, a prison sentence to be served.
The Penal Code stipulates that animal cruelty is punishable by up to three years in prison if it causes the death of several animals.
The judge usually starts from the middle value and makes his decision taking into account mitigating and aggravating circumstances.
