It should be noted that, as already announced, on Wednesday there will be a press conference between the Portuguese Football Federation and the Royal Spanish Football Federation, in Nyon. The theme of the conference was not disclosed, but it may be related to this announcement.
The Times wrote that Ukraine’s decision to join the Iberian bid was approved by President Volodymyr Zelensky, and that the country that was approved in Russia is preparing to host one of the groups in the competition scheduled for within eight years.
One of the objectives of this novelty would be to show that football can be an important tool in rebuilding peace and hope for the Ukrainian people.
