Restaurant
Athensmagazine.gr recommends for today food at the Mexican restaurant “Foinikas Cocina Y Cocteleria Mexicana”, located at 76 Iroon Polytechniou Street in Chaidari. By the way, some of the best places to eat in Haidari.
“Foinikas Cocina Y Cocteleria Mexicana” takes you on a trip to Mexico, with its exotic decor, smells and music.
The idea for the store came from a series about the life of Pablo Escobar, where the characters had created a hacienda called “Hacienda Napoles” in the jungle of Colombia.

Cinema
On the other hand, if you are dying for a movie, we recommend the movie “The Burning Sea”.

Theater
At the same time, if you are looking for theater, we recommend the show “Backpack” with Fai Xyla and Christos Spanos at Theater 104.
A work about the world of two characters of the psychological cracks are distinguished and
they shut down and bring to the surface diverse feelings and behaviors.
A Backback that weighs as much as the weight of conscience.
The play
In today’s Athens, the delivery of a Backpack causes surprise, confusion, questions and upheavals.
The lost backpack, carefully and deliberately left somewhere in the bustling subway, contains not only valuable contents but also answers to critical and haunting questions.
The WOMAN (Faie Xyla) the recipient and the MAN (Christos Spanos) the bearer, complete strangers to each other, identify with what comes to light, each for their own reasons.
The unexpected meeting of the two different people makes their cooperation imperative, while at the same time it gives rise to doubts, dilemmas, guilt and conflicts.
Everything is put into doubt, while a third person determines their decisions and actions.
The two characters are forced to unearth and expose their most guilty secrets, to study
events and process terrifying truths. The rupture between them is imperative and inevitable,
as well as their coexistence. Taking them to the place where all the answers are stored will reveal the truth, trigger the explosion of true emotions, determine their behavior and lead them to the final solution.
“Backpack” is a modern Greek project by award-winning journalist Spyros D. Michalopoulos.
He returns as a writer to “theater 104”, four years after the success, in the same place, of his previous work “Sex Lexicon – The Science of Love”.
Anna Maria Papacharalambous penetrates the world of two characters who carry the scars left behind by imperfect relationships, anger, anxiety, introversion, but also love, companionship, hope and expectation.
Performed by the talented, experienced and popular actors Fai Xyla and Christos Spanos.
The original music of the show is signed by the new and already influential songwriter Marina Spanou.
Music
In addition, at the Herodos Atticus Conservatory, on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 9:00 pm, Stamatis Spanoudakis will hold a big concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Asia Minor Catastrophe entitled “For Smyrna”.
