Weekend of Guinean internationals: Issiaga Sylla and Toulouse offer themselves Montpellier
A second contingent of Guinean internationals was deployed this Sunday in European stadiums. Having become an indispensable element in Toulouse, Issiaga Sylla and his club offered themselves to Montpellier during the 9th day of Ligue 1.
It is now difficult to compose a Toulouse team without Issiaga Sylla. The left side once again held his lane with an iron fist and participated in Toulouse’s victory (4-2) against Montpellier. Still in Ligue 1, the story is less beautiful for Mohamed Bayo. The Guinean striker seems to have lost his starting place with Lille. Against Lorient, the 24-year-old didn’t come on until the 86th minute. Worse a minute after his entry, the Hakes, yet at ten since the exclusion of Burkinabe Dango Ouattara in the 62nd minute, scored the winning goal (2-1).
Let’s go down a floor and find Morgan Guilavogui in Ligue 2. The giant striker from Syli scored on a penalty in the 24th minute for his team Paris FC. But Guilavogui’s third league achievement was defeated as his team was beaten by Rodez (1-2).
In Belgium, a disappointing harvest for Mory Konaté and Amadou Diawara. The first suffered a setback (0-1) with Saint-Trond against KAS Eupen, as part of day 10 of the Jupiler Pro League. The second was not even on Anderlecht’s score sheet against Sporting Charleroi. An absence may be justified by his two friendly matches delivered with the national Syli.
No success also for Mouctar Diakhaby and Ilaix Moriba and Valencia, held in check (2-2) in Catalonia in front of Espanyol Barcelona. If the central defender of a dispute a new meeting in La Liga, the midfielder once again did not exist in the mind of Genarro Gattuso, who did not take him into the group.
