Theater season 2022/2023 San Marino Theater
The new theatrical season of San Marino Teatro kicks off with a large and multifaceted program. The characterizing element of the 2022-23 theatrical season will be the interdisciplinary nature of the activities, that is prose, music, dance, comedy, meetings and conferences-shows where the word and the suggestions that the theater provokes the wide breath. A dialogue, the theatrical one, which knows how to weave and create new opportunities for development through culture, through the ability to be an encounter with the territory and its inhabitants, building the sense of belonging on which the well-being of each community is based. Nineteen shows divided between Teatro Nuovo (5 shows), Teatro Titano (9 shows) and five meetings outside the theater for “Looks beyond the scene”.
NEW THEATER: The new theater billboard will be inaugurated on Sunday 23 October (at 6 pm) by the Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of San Marino, which will perform a Tribute to Ennio Morricone, performing the most beautiful soundtracks composed by the great Maestro; Wednesday 9 November Sabrina Guzzanti and Giorgio Tirabassi will stage The Green Hills of Africa, a funny and irreverent text by Peter Handke; Tuesday 7 January two great actresses, Laura Marinoni and Elisabetta Pozzi directed by David Livermore will be the protagonists of Friedrich Schiller’s Maria Stuarda; 11 February on stage Festen – the game of truth based on the screenplay of the same name in the famous Danish film Saturday 51st Cannes Film Festival; On Saturday 18 March, the big dance will close the bill, with two choreographies, Carmen / Bolero interpreted by the MM Contemporary Dance Company.
TITANO THEATER: The Titano program will start on Wednesday 16 November with Calère-Transitus animee, a tribute to Pierpaolo Pasolini, a co-production of the Ravenna Festival which sees Patrizia Bollini from San Marino among the performers; Wednesday 23 November will be the turn of Concita De Gregorio with the music of Erica Mou in One last thing – Five invectives, seven women and a funeral, a show focused on the evocative power of the feminine; Friday 2 December, directly from the following televisions the Karma b – the Dive with something more in a unique and unscrupulous live show, between theater, music and divertissement; Sunday 29 January on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance, Perlasca – the courage to say no by and with Alessandro Albertin, a fascinating and engaging story of Giorgio Perlasca’s “just among the nations”; Sunday 19 February, Lino Musella in Tavola table, nail nail…, taken from notes, articles, correspondence and correspondence by Eduardo De Filippo; 4 March, on the anniversary of his birth, an appointment dedicated to Lucio Dalla entitled Let’s wait without fear, Saturday with Scena Verticale and the String Quartet of the San Marino Music Institute; Wednesday 8 March, for International Women’s Day, Ginevra by Marco and Gaia Nanni in Women warriors, a tribute to the “warrior” women of our time, real fighters who have remained indelibly in the memory; It will be Wednesday 22 March the commedia dell’arte by Stivalaccio Teatro with Harlequin mute for fear, one of the most represented canvases in the Paris of 700. Furthermore, Friday 28 April, as a side event, an appointment included in the E’Bal circuit, stages for the Contemporary dance: on stage Fattoria Vittadini in Eutropia In addition to the appointments of the lectern review, this year there will also be an afternoon and Sunday review, entitled Looks beyond the scene realized in unusual places. The proposal aims to broaden the gaze beyond the conventional theatrical space, considering theater as sharing, meeting with the other, experimenting and sharing that existing together, side by side that gives meaning to the theater itself to exist and it also wants to be a renewed relationship between the territory and the well-being of its inhabitants. It will begin on Sunday 30 October at 3.30 pm at the educational Arboretum of Ca ‘Vagnetto (Domagnano) with Abitare la terra, Teatro in strada by and with Silvio Castiglioni, an itinerant theatrical action that explores some of our relationship with the planet walking along a tiny fragment of it .; Sunday 20 November (4.30 pm) The Pinacoteca San Francesco will host Roberto Mercadini with The art of being new, a very special lesson on Renaissance painting; Sunday 4 December (4.30 pm) at the Titancoop in Valdragone, Vito will be the protagonist of Savòur rhymes with amòur – InVito alla tavola, a discussion on food and “surroundings”, in dialogue with Donatella Depaoli and Paolo Rondelli; Sunday 22 January (4.30 pm) in the Aula Magna Lanfranco Ferroni of the University, Department of History, David Riondino and Dario Vergassola in Our classics; Sunday 23 April (4.30 pm) at the Sala Polivalente “il Ritrovo” in Fiorentino, Every brilliant thing – the things worth living for with Filippo Nigro, an intimate, engaging and exciting story by the English writer Duncan Macmillan marked by lists of things worth living for. At the end of the appointments, Titancoop will offer an aperitif to the speeches.
