The story of a young man from the Republic of Moldova, who runs a business in the USA based on… longing // Cealaltă Bessarabie
This summer, the Other Bessarabie team managed to learn the stories of several Moldovans settled in America. Among them is Andrei Nimerencu, the Moldovan who found a way to appease the homesickness of those in the States and at home. The young man sends love to the package and a lot of care through the parcels.
For over 24 years, Camelia Trăistaru from Craiova has been established overseas. Because the distance to Romania is too long, the woman, together with her husband, take care to send the love of the package from America. After some searching, Camelia found the right place and more importantly, the staff she trusts. Prepare the packages for Romania very carefully. Choose to send things to your loved ones that will be useful to them because you know how complicated life is at home.
Andrei Nimerencu is the owner of this business in Chicago. The Moldovan knows where and what each kilogram of the boxes for the soul contains. In the few years since he has owned this business, Andrei has had many experiences. As an entrepreneur, time has taught that when you know all the details you can’t let yourself down you need.
In the Republic of Moldova, Andrei was an engineer, but a few years ago he decided to make a change, he went to study in Romania, and later he arrived in the USA. He decided to move to Chicago because he saw more possibilities for development.
In Chicago, he discovered how big the diaspora is, and together with the demand of the parcel forwarding business, he also understood its needs.
In America he learned to be open to challenges and to find every possibility. That’s how he ended up creating another business.
Time passed unnoticed, but still it was felt through the longing for loved ones. Andrei has not been to Moldova since 2015. Although he made the choice to leave the country, he did not think that it would last so many years, but he took the best and dearest things from home.
America gave him opportunities for development, safety and freedom, but for these possibilities, Andrei pays with a lot of longing and irretrievable moments with his loved ones. Even if he cannot reach Moldova, Andrei found a way to convey a lot of care and love to his loved ones.
