an almost summer week in Dijon and Côte-d’Or, up to 24 degrees expected
As you will have noticed, temperatures dropped significantly at the end of September, forcing many households to turn on the heating earlier than expected. However, as we explain to you this week, the values were adapted to seasonal norms. But the first part of the month having been characterized by strong heat, the large difference in temperatures was particularly revealed.
A new brutal change is expected on Monday in Côte-d’Or with the return of high pressure conditions. If it will show ten degrees in the morning in the middle of the fog, the thermometer should climb up to 20 degrees in the afternoon under beautiful clearings. Or, the seasonal normals at the beginning of October are rather around 16-17 degrees in Dijon.
And it will continue: it should again be around 20 degrees on Tuesday in similar weather conditions. On Wednesday, the department will gain a few more degrees since it could be 23 or even 24 degrees locally on this hottest day of the week, “almost summery” according to Stéphane Nedeljkovitch, meteorologist at MétéoNews.
We expect more humidity in the form of greyness on Thursday, but no precipitation. Despite less frank clearings, the thermometer will still show around 20 degrees… before the return of good weather on Friday with, once again, a bar of 20 degrees which should be exceeded.
The return of a disturbance?
According to US premieres, next weekend should be more unstable. A disturbance will ripple over France and could cause rain, especially on Sunday, and trigger a change in weather for the following week. However, the sweetness will always be there with around twenty degrees expected.
