Veronese antique dealers
One of the most awaited moments by Veronese and tourists in the most characteristic district of the city of Verona is back on Sunday 2 October: Verona Antiquaria, an appointment with the antiques market, collectibles, modern antiques and vintage. Grape and Bardolino wine festival
Music, colors, food and wine, shows, local crafts and appointments dedicated to ruby red nectar. Rice Fair in Isola della Scala
The Isola della Scala Rice Fair is scheduled until 2 October 2022. Luciano Ligabue at the Arena
Luciano Ligabue is back on the live scene with seven unmissable concerts at the Verona Arena: on the weekend the appointment is Friday 30 September and Saturday 1 October 2022.
Herbst Musicaux Festival at the Giusti Garden
Classical music resounds at the Giardino Giusti. Until 1 October 2022 a series of concerts at 6 pm on every Saturday of the month. Five musical events with the aim of promoting the encounter between music, nature and people through the universal character of the classical repertoire. This is the goal of the fifth edition of the Herbst Musicaux festival entitled “Music. Between dream and reality. The third dimension”.
Dragon Fly in Tregnago

Theater in the Neighborhoods

Grandparents’ party at the theater
This year the grandparents are celebrating at the theater. The party on 2 October dedicated to them will in fact be at the Camploy theater with the free show “Stasera mi butto” by the Zeropuntoit theater company. Caroto and the arts between Mantegna and Veronese
From 13 May to 2 October 2022 in Verona, in the monumental spaces of the Palazzo della Gran Guardia, the great exhibition on Giovan Francesco Caroto (circa 1480 – 1555) can be visited. It is the first exhibition entirely dedicated to the artist, with over 100 works from some of the most prestigious Italian and international collections, which presents the evolution of the great painter, following him from his early beginnings to the recognized role of artist.
The Arche Scaligere in Verona: admission for only 1 euro
The Arche Scaligere enclosure is open to the public at the church of Santa Maria Antica in Verona: from 1 June to 30 September 2022 it is possible to visit the tombs of the Scaligeri thanks to the precious collaboration of the Legambiente volunteers.
Banksy’s journey to the stations of Italy will stop in Verona until 30 October 2022 with the exhibition “The World of Banksy – The Immersive Experience”. Next stop: Porta Nuova station. “The World of Banksy – The Immersive Experience” presents the British artist in a new light, thanks to an installation of over one hundred works by the most famous street artist in the world it will be possible to get to know the character in its entirety through an immersive experience.
In Verona a photographic exhibition dedicated to the history of Libya
“The Italian occupation of Libya. Violence and colonialism 1911-1943“ is the topic at the center of the photographic exhibition, promoted by the University’s Radici Rights Group in collaboration with the Veronese Institute for the History of the Resistance and the Contemporary Age, with the patronage of the University of Verona, aimed at citizens and in particular to students of the university and middle schools of Verona and its province. The exhibition will be set up in the cloister of Santa Maria delle Vittorie and will remain open from 16 September to 8 October.
The Artericambi gallery presents “Ex voto”, the first posthumous exhibition of the artist Delfina Marcello set up in the gallery spaces. The inauguration will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 5 pm, while the exhibition will then remain visible until October 20, 2022. The exhibition “Ex voto” was born from a communion of intent aimed at remembering and making known the work of Delfina Marcello will focus mainly on her pictorial production.
In Verona the National Archaeological Museum
The National Archaeological Museum of Verona has inaugurated the section dedicated to Prehistory and Protohistory, from the Paleolithic to the Bronze Age, 200,000 years of history of the Verona area. The museum is open to the public from 10 am to 6 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. 200 thousand years of history preserved in the new National Archaeological Museum of Verona which sees the displacement, with other treasures, of the “Shaman”, perhaps the oldest human figure in the world.
“Passions and visions” at the Gallery of Modern Art in Verona
The story of the birth of the Achille Forti Gallery of Modern Art told in a new exhibition of over 150 works. This is how the passion for art and the far-sighted vision of Ugo Zannoni, Achille Forti, Licisco Magagnato and Giorgio Cortenova, four fundamental characters for the GAM and its identity, are presented to the public in a special exhibition curated by Francesca Rossi. and Patrizia Nuzzo.
Ancient vases at the Archaeological Museum
The charm of the Etruscan bucchero on display at the Archaeological Museum at the Roman Theater. Open to the public, in the room dedicated to temporary exhibitions, the new exhibition on “Ancient vases”, curated by Margherita Bolla, which dedicates a special focus to Etruscan ceramics. One, open until 2 October 2022, a section that presents some of the most evocative pieces of the collection of pre-Roman ceramics, about eighty vases from the seventh to the fourth century BC, which make up a part of the rich collection of the Archaeological Museum, not normally on display to the public.
