Serbian football striker Nemanja Kuzmanovič has been active as a player in the Czech Republic since 2012. He gradually went through Bohemians, Sokolov, Opava, until he settled in Baník Ostrava. He has been working here for the fifth season, I feel very good and he wishes to advance with the team to the European Cups.
Baník Ostrava is not having a good start to the season under coach Pavel Vrba. Nemanja Kuzmanovič is very well aware of this, but despite the fact that he is also losing to other teams that wanted to move on the top ranks, that is why I still feel a chance to advance to Europe.
The Serbian striker has already played in 137 matches in the Czech top league, most of them in the Baník Ostrava jersey. In total, he has been working in the Czech Republic for ten years and proudly says that he feels at home here. He wouldn’t trade Ostrava and Baník for anything.
“For a long time there has been talk about the fact that Baník wants to be successful, he really wants to get among the best teams in the Czech Republic. Everything is enhanced by the fact that this year Baník celebrates its centenary. I think we have now shown that we have what it takes. We have risen in the league and the results are coming. Hopefully it will continue,” says Kuzmanovic for iSport.
This Serbian striker in the services of Baník believes that they can achieve success with Pavel Vrba. He is a coach who relies on discipline, the players know exactly what he is asking of them, and Kuzmanovic likes that.
What else does it say about Vrbo? “I definitely feel the coach’s support. I’m giving myself more time up front, but I’ll be completely honest and say that I would trade one of those goals for more points for Baník.”
Nemanja Kuzmanovic is Ostrava’s most productive player this season. In nine games played, he scored three goals and recorded two assists.
The Serbian striker likes that he brought good reinforcements to the team such as Plavšič. He believes that competition in the team will help to achieve better results. Regardless of the bad start to the season, he believes that Baník can fight for the rungs ensuring advancement to Europe. U that Slavia and Plzeň are located elsewhere, but the other favors lose as well as Baník.
