SUMMARY
Did you miss the game yet? It seemed that during the break due to the national team matches, the fans of Debrecen and Kispest were also hungry for football, because the cheering went on behind both goals, the fans stopped to sing and clapped – in other words, the match in Nagyerde started in a great atmosphere on Saturday afternoon. The first minutes of the match, competition About Balázs Dzudzák they said. The one-hundred-and-eight-times international midfielder has been in the news recently with his upcoming farewell match and his future record, but when the match started, his decisive performance was revealed again… Srdjan Blagojevics, who made his debut on the bench in Debrecen, named four defenders and four midfielders in the starting team, the forward wedge in the defensive line , Dorian Babunszki took on the role of Loki’s routine player, and with his first touch of the ball he gave a great start to Ádám Bódi, who missed the top left corner by inches – it would have been the goal of the round if it went in…
A few minutes later, an attack from the left also ran along the field, after the pass, Balázs Dzudzsák could have shot, but hit a defender, even though this could easily have been a goal, but in any case, you could already see how much more active and precise the home team was. It was so much so that the team captain’s next great move already put the red and whites in the lead: after the (arm) master’s start after Péter Baráth’s pass Dorian Babunski shot the ball into the Kispest goal from close range. The Honvéd, a wedge in front, three midfielders behind him, and two filters in front of the four defenders should have slowed down the Hajdúság actions, was clearly confused by the immediate start in Debrecen. The Kispests were unable to keep the ball, and Loki continued to attack energetically. The next dangerous action, just to diversify the domestic offensive game, ran on the side (until then, the left was more dangerous), and after a smart pass by Márk Szécsi, Péter Baráth, coming from the midfield into the five, was in an unmissable position – it is worth mentioning at this point in relation to the scorer, that he also provided a goal assist during the twenty-six minutes of play, in addition, he had to take care of the defense alongside József Varga and behind Balázs Dzudzsák, but according to the signs, he also took an active part in the attacks.
And the gala performance in Debrecen continued: József Varga scored the ball, To Ádám Bódi passed who great goal obtained. On the bench in Kispest, coaches and players looked at each other in confusion, hopelessness, listlessness and, of course, bad mood reflected on their faces. It was not surprising that the away fans, who had been persistently cheering for their team until then, changed their tune…
János Ferenczi aimed for the empty goal from forty meters – it was not Péter Szappanos’ fault that it did not result in a goal, but he was greeted by a standing ovation as the completely liberated, cheerful Debrecens tried everything. It was no surprise that the visiting team made two substitutions at the break, and it looked like it, but by then DVSC had scored another goal. Brandon Domingues, who was sent on as a substitute, improved the game, and then the Honvéd had two promising opportunities, but they missed, even though they could have recovered from their huge disadvantage. As a result of the reorganization, Donát Zsótér moved from the wing to the center, his playing skills were much better there, he brought life to his football, and Loki’s defense had much more to do. And Honvéd really found everything, and scored two goals to make the match quite exciting. Loki was tired from the start, it had almost no energy left in the attack, but it achieved its goal because it defended and thus preserved some of its respectable advantage – and the guests can regret the first half, because they performed much better after the break.
