MAPS. Yellow vests, Uber Eats deliverers: the course of the demonstrations in Paris

New day of mobilization at Paris. Like every Saturday, the yellow vests will pound the pavement again on October 1, 2022. Two processions have been declared and approved by the Prefecture of Police. Otherwise, Uber Eats delivery people will also manifest themselves this Saturday, after a first mobilization on September 12. Here are the announced routes.
The demonstrations of the yellow vests
The first procession of yellow vests from 2:30 p.m. Place Valhubert, in the 5th arrondissement. This is a demonstration “for the defense of social gains, for fiscal and climate social justice, for the RIC (citizens’ initiative referendum, editor’s note), against the increase in basic necessities (petrol, electricity, etc.), against state violence and against the closure of hospital services” in particular.
This event is driven by several collectives : Yellow Vests and Angry Citizens, Women Yellow Vests, Yellow Vests Pantin, Belleville and Yellow Vests Ecology Popular. The point of arrival is planned Place Paul Signacin the 20th arrondissement.
For the second demonstration of the Yellow Vests, the appointment is given at 1:30 p.m. on the place of the stock exchange, in front of Agence France Presse (AFP). The procession will leave at 2:30 p.m., with an expected arrival Place Joachim du Bellayin front of the Fountain of the Innocents.
The collectives Vigimédias, Liberté Vérité – Citizens and Yellow Vests demonstrate “in support of Julian Assange, for the dismissal of Emmanuel Macron and all the political or elected representatives who have betrayed the people of France, for the introduction of the RIC in all matters in the Constitution, for the exit from the European Union, the euro and NATO, against global governance and the reign of the bank”, in particular.
Protest by Uber Eats delivery people
After a first demonstration on September 12, 2022, Uber Eats delivery people respondent to a new mobilization this Saturday, October 1 in Paris to report the deactivation of 2,500 “fraudulent” accounts by the company.
They meet at 11 a.m. Place de la République. The delivery men, on motorized two-wheelers or on bicycles, have planned to go around Paris.
