Belarus increased food exports by 25% – Deputy Prime Minister – REFORM.by
For 8 months, Belarus has increased food exports by 25%. This was stated by the Vice Prime Minister of Belarus during a visit to the Dazhynki festival Leonid Zayats, transmit BelTA.
“According to the results of work for 8 months, our exports amounted to 5.168 billion dollars. This is 125% compared to the same period last year. We have the right path and worthy indicators. Today I want to congratulate all the farmers of our country on their achievement. We are confident that the food security of our state is guaranteed.”he assured.
In his opinion, the harvesting of cereals and leguminous crops was completed with a good result.
“More than 8 million tons have been threshed, 907 thousand tons of rapeseed have been threshed, corn consumers have requested more than 2 million tons. In total, we expect a harvest of more than 11 million tons. This is probably already a sufficient number of cases of state orders and in full such needs. The regions of our republic have worked well, all the added regions have gross harvested relative to 2021. 20 farms near Belarus exceeded the figure of 100 thousand tons, 4 farms in the country of departure yielded more than 100 c/ha. Such a result has been achieved in the entire history of our sovereign Belarus.”he drew attention.
