The MAGIC Monaco show is back in February 2023
Little by little, most of the shows and conventions canceled in 2020 due to the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic have been able to find their marks and launch new editions. On the comics side, if we still deplore the total disappearance of the Comic-Con Parisit’s another very nice event that could once again take place at the beginning of next year: the MAGIC (to pay Monaco Anime Game International Conferences) monaco.
The return of prestigious BD guests?
The Monegasque fair, organized by Shibuya Productionswill indeed be back February 25 and 26, 2023, after three editions (2020, 2021 and 2022) canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. This is a special convention, since if the entrance is totally free, the number of places is limited and subject to registration. If the show is primarily focused on manga, anime and video games, comics are generally also entitled to a good exhibition.
Indeed, we will remember that the living room MAGIC had received in 2019 (edition to which we had the honor of being partners) Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti (interview here) and Chris Claremont (interview here), while the 2020 edition should have welcomed David Gibbons. The illustrious Mike Mignola, Colleen Doran, Bill Sienkiewicz, Marc Miller we John Romita Jr.. For the moment, no name has yet been announced by the organization, but we advise people living not far from Monaco to monitor the site and its social networks closely.
