San Marino. A day in the language of signs: theater, culture and entertainment
The Sports and Cultural Association of the Deaf Sammarinesi, organizes Saturday 8 October, the VIII Workshop dedicated to Sign Language entitled “A day in sign language – theater, culture and entertainment” which will take place at the Casa di Castello di Serravalle starting from 9:30.
The workshop will be conducted in the morning, by the speakers Dario Pasquarella and Davide Bai, of the Arte & Mani Deaf Italy Onlus Association who will give notions on culture, and then move on to the practical moment of a small theatrical course.
While in the afternoon he will resume with the speaker Davide Falco (LIS Interpreter and LIS Performer) who will teach the writings to “Sing” in Lis.
In fact, this workshop was designed to bring the population closer to the world of LIS (Sign Language) and deaf culture through the world of art, especially aimed at teachers, communication assistants, educators, LIS interpreters, but it is open to all. In fact, no previous experience is required but only great curiosity and desire to open one’s own cultural and experiential horizons.
Finally, the final moment of the workshop will be held at the Sala Polivalente Auditorium LITTLE TONY in Serravalle at 9 pm with the theatrical show “COVID LIFE” which will be in bilingual Italian and LIS understandable by all, it will be an excellent opportunity to put small ones into practice learning notion throughout the day.
