Portugal does not recognize Russian annexation of four Ukrainian regions
Portugal does not recognize Russia from regions of Ukraine, this Friday by the Russian President, said the Portuguese Foreign Minister, considering that Moscow “continues to show contempt for international law”.
“Portugal does not and will not recognize annexations of illegally occupied by Russia and is fully in solidarity with Ukraine”says the Minister of Foreign Affairs, João Cravinho, in a statement released today through the social network Twitter.
According to the minister, the announcement today of the annexation of parts of Ukrainian territory, advanced by Russian President Vladimir Putin, demonstrates an “absolute contempt for international law”.
