Some of them are touch rugby, pétanque, archery
It organizes a festival that promotes non-traditional sports such as archery, pétanque, touch rugby, baseball and others. Sports journalist Kamen Alipiev and ultramarathoner Krasi Georgiev will host the event.
“I always think that the mission of sports journalists is to popularize sports, not only as an event where several thousand people gather at the stadium, but as part of the culture of a nation,” said Kamen Alipiev.
Fans of non-traditional sports can play American football with the Sofia Bears team. There will also be cross-fit training.
“In the States, you see a completely different situation in the country, and in my opinion, it is much easier for us to change the attitude towards your sports in our country. It’s a matter of advertising, promotion”, added Alexander Kenanov, who is the most successful Bulgarian player in American football.
The festival will be held on October 1 in the “Akademika IV” sports complex, 4 km away in Sofia.
