Viktoria Plzeň has added a fifth key footballer to the squad. Injured goalkeeper Jindřich Staněk returned from the national team meeting. According to the club’s statement, he will be absent at least in Saturday’s game at Bohemians Prague.

“At the moment, it is not possible to estimate the length of his absence towards the next matches of the Champions League and the domestic competition that await us. But it is certain that he will not be available on Saturday. Subsequently, she will undergo further examinations, which will show the extent of the injury and the recovery time,” said Viktoria’s spokesperson Václav Hanzlík.
The club did not say which part of the body was involved. However, in Tuesday’s Nations League match against Switzerland, Staněk hit the post with his shoulder during one of the tackles, writhed in pain for a while, but finished the match. “After the match, it became clear that she was going to be forced to take a break,” the club wrote in a statement.
Pilsen already has forward Kliment, midfielders Kopic and Sýkora and defender Řezník.
