In the Kherson region, the study of the Russian language is not prohibited. According to Ukrainian legislation, at the request of a representative of national minorities, a separate class can be allocated for instruction in the required language, but the state language, Ukrainian, should be a priority. In the Kherson region, it was not only possible to study the Russian language as a subject, but there were also schools where instruction in general took place entirely in Russian.
The Kremlin extended its influence to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, and, first of all, in the field of children’s education for the rapid “(re)education” of a new generation of Ukrainians. To do this, it becomes necessary to study the Russian language and history – such as she interprets Russian propaganda, including today’s events. Agitprop argues for such a rush by saying that the reason is that it discriminates against the Russian language, as well as other rights of Russian speakers, and therefore it is necessary to “restore injustice.” So, for example, it is reported that in the Kherson region Russian language distribution has not been dispatched since 2013. As they arise, collaborators in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region declare this.
Statement that in the Kherson region since 2013 no arrival is expected in Russian. In 2022, there were 450 thousand of them (according to the education and science of Ukraine – ed.).
Head of the Department of General Secondary Education of Ukraine and Preschool Education of the Ministry of Education and Science Yuriy Kononenko written in the comments “News of the Sea of u200bu200bAzov”that the Ukrainian education system may be needed to study the Russian language for those students whose parents show such a desire.
“If parents want their child to study in the common language (and by default, the student learns in the state language – Ukrainian), in the language of national minorities or the language of the indigenous people, then they can establish this in the requirements and further establish the conditions for the formation of classes – classes when established in having at least 5 children. Taking into account the fact that the proposed school forms a network of classes and its own curriculum,” Kononenko noted.
In 2020 on the site Uphill article was published about how schools in the Kherson region are going to switch to the Ukrainian language after the Verkhovna Rada voted for the reform of secondary education. Including various changes in registration protocols and realization of the rights of the child to study the state language, which can vary in three samples and with the volume of study of the Ukrainian language and the language of national minorities. So, in 2020, there were schools in the Kherson region that taught in Russian, then they were preparing to move to a mixed class, where they were taught in Ukrainian and in Russian. At the same time, several schools decided not to use additional parallel “Ukrainian” classes. Also in media scandal in one of the Kherson schoolswhere children without fail laid down a lesson in English, although it was optional.
Thus, they claim that children in the Kherson region have not learned Russian since 2013 is false. There are also manipulative statements about oppression in Ukraine in Russian – this story Russia does not stop actively using to justify its military aggression against Ukraine – revealing the radiation protection of the Ukrainians themselves.
StopFake has repeatedly spoken out against some fakes and manipulations, in particular that in Ukraine sanctions are completely prohibited in English, and that in Ukraine they will be fined for the Russian language.
